This is written to the best of my memory of that day:

September 11, 2001 seemed like an ordinary day to me. It seemed that way to everyone else to. It was about a month into a new school year. Everyone was getting ready for their day.

My day started at 6 a.m. I got up and got dressed. Soon after I was on my way to school. I ate breakfast as usual, a bagel with cream cheese and drank some orange juice. In the computer lab I heard some rumors of a bomb going off in a building. I asked “Is that true?” and some said no it was just a joke. So I just brushed it off and that where end. I was wrong. In my history class there was talk of some incident. I was confused. I thought they said it was just a joke. “What happened?”, I asked. “Two planes hit the world trade center?” some one said. I can’t remeber the exact words but it went somethingl like this “Some hit in the Pentagon and some plane crashed into some other state.” I was horrified. How could this be? Why could this happen? What will happen after today? I never really heard of the World Trade Center. But that didn’t mean I didn’t care. During the day of the 11th. I suppose all of us at my high school were walking around with horrified. Every one kept asking ” Did this really happen?” and people kept saying “We’re all going to die.” It was horrifying. I went to the computer lab after school and saw some many pictures,audio and video about it. I just wanted it to go a way. I went the public library still more horrifying pictures. The t.v. was also filled with more of that. That I went to sleep thinking about about the days events. Wondering what was going to happen. Hoping that the next day it would all be a whole big nightmare and that it never happen but I knew that wasn’t true. Then I fell asleep.
