I was laying in bed, getting ready to start the day, when I reached over to turn on my clock radio and listen to the news of the morning. The first thing I heard from the radio host was “We have a breaking story, a plane has just flown into the World Trade Center.” Surprised, I tapped my wife on the shoulder and told her the news, and she told me to turn on the TV. Just as I turned on the television, the second plane hit, and we both sank to the floor. The rest of the day was filled with watching the coverage and crying. That night I told my young children to remember this day.
