I was in 7th grade in my science class when the World Trade Centers were hit. The principal come on to announce that the terror threat was at full alert and to lock all the doors and keep all students out of the halls. Everyone thought that it was like a drill and was acting like nothing was going on. Our teacher was confused so she got on CBS.com and it was on every channel on the television. After we dicovered it wasn’t a drill we all started freaking out and crying. Some of us even wanted to go home. Parents came but they wouldn’t release anybody. Not even teachers. We all went home that night and it was a prett quiet week the rest of the week in school with alot of watching the news. Papers were written and some didn’t even come to school. It has now been 3 years and I still get the chills when I hear 9/11, World Trade Centers, Twin Towers, etc.
